SALEM, Oregon – March 22, 2023 – Pacific Standard is excited to announce the grand opening of their Salem hotel bar project, co-owned by Jeffrey Morgenthaler and Benjamin Amberg. The opening date is slated for June 14, 2023, 6-11pm, at The Holman Riverfront Park Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: 195 Commercial St SE, Salem, Oregon.

For the first week of service, Pacific Standard will be open every day, 6pm-11pm Sun-Thurs, 6pm-12am Fri/Sat. Beginning June 22, it will be open at 11am every day, closing at 11pm Sun-Thurs, 12am Fri/Sat.

Pacific Standard’s first bar opened in June 2022, occupying the former Dottir space located in the KEX Portland hotel lobby. Filled with leather lounges, soft window light, and over 150 seats, Pacific Standard has truly become Portland’s new living room. Now, we’re excited to bring Pacific Standard to the capitol, across the street from The Salem Convention Center.

A thoroughly modern West Coast drinking and dining establishment with PNW-centric cuisine, Pacific Standard will serve as a core gathering space in The Holman Hotel, with a central bar where craft cocktails and artisanal food set the stage for casual connection in its modern, comfortable, lived-in environment.

Pacific Standard is launching an expanded menu in Salem with a lot of the old favorites from the Portland location. The food menu, also created by Jeffrey and Benjamin, will be substantial, classic bar food – all inspired by life on the West Coast. Oysters, artichokes, Dungeness crab and fresh vegetables are all a part of what makes the West Coast
